In 1 Corinthians 2:10 Paul explains the work of the Holy Spirit in revealing the things God has for those who love him - "For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God."
In beholding the Lord, we need to fully surrender to the Holy Spirit within, humbly acknowledging our complete dependence upon Him to reveal the Lord before the eyes of our heart.
"And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever" (John 14:16) is His sure promise to you.
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!
